Default HoM titles

In HoM u can display statues for completing UW / FoW / Urgoz / Deep / DoA/ sorrows furnace, in the titles display.

Do you guys think arena.net will make these titles count towards the KoaBD title?

I figure the week before GW2 launches they will start counting towards KoaBD titles. Arena.net won't want peoples still playing GW1 chasing r6 KoaBD instead of buying and playing GW2.

Before you argue that this would be horrible thing to do to those people who have already achieve r6 KoaBD. You should realize arena.net doesnt care about keeping titles difficult to achieve.
(ie) Legendary survivor + Frontis Irontoe dungeon.
or
Ursan + consumables can H/H all HM mission and vanquish all explorable areas.

doubtful, there is a difference in completing an elite area and dedicating time to a title.

It allows you to display a statue for completing the elite areas and lists it in your accomplishments; it has nothing to do with obtaining any title and never will. Anet doesn't care if you start GW2 at r5 KoaBD or r6 though there's plenty of time to get to r6...

But perhaps completing all elite areas?

I'd support a new title that would be for completion of all elite areas in NM and HM, inclusive of FoW and UW. How many would that be? 8 missions to complete in both NM and HM. That seems worthy enough to me.

I highly doubt that r6 people will get any more than r1 KoabD people, HoM is considered complete with 5 max titles (aka r1 koabd) everyone is just way into titles cause of this HoM crap, i really hope the rewards will be total crap in gw2

Most likely there will be no title for this kind of thing, and really there's no need for a title. A statue is more than enough. After all, there's almost no other titles you can complete in less than an hour start to finish (maybe sweets and party if you have all the stuff and just need to click, but nothing else)

And I hate when people complain about r6 koabd - if you don't want it, don't go for it but please don't qq about the people who get it and say mean things and hope they get screwed over in gw2

As do I my friend. Titles were always a bad idea to me, so were minipets, but thats another story...

Great, you devoted your life to a piece of text on ur name, aka Epeen. But if they get substantially greater rewards than me cause I don't want to spend much time, I can always occupy my free time with some other game.

I don't think you get it really. Very few people want the titles so they may get some pathetic reward like a couple of weapons in GW 2. People seek the titles not just because a few nice words appear after your name, but also because each time you achieve a title (especially a select few), you feel a sense of achievement. I got legendary vanquisher the other day. Now you may say thats easy, but trust me - it is not. I enjoyed the achievement and look forward to another title hunt.

People put a lot of time into the game, and it is a simple reward for players who put the effort in - the HOM benefits however minor they be are most definately an afterthought

lol sorry to break someones hopes about benefits in gw2, but they will be nothing extraordinary, if they were, the people that only have gw2 and never played guild wars would feel put at an disadvantage and stop playing,
anyhow, im all up for a statue to symbolize the achievement that you made, but not another title.

Appreciate the point, I don't believe they will have any major benefit either, but do you have any solid basis for it? I'm curious as to what information has actually been released about benefts from having a decked out HoM for GW2.

Titles make me wanna cry lately, i see everyday 20 new chars with My Guild Hall....which only means we will have more Gods.... then normal people before release of GW2 !!!
Reward for KOBD in GW2 will be something lame i guess (i just hope they make game much more intense and bigger) and for OP i think introducing title for Elite areas is not to wise (do Anet could fix HoM "elite" statues and just make one who shows when u complete all areas !!!)

It is true that my point has no real basis and is just based on how i have analyzed the situation.
However, the fact that a HoM (or should i say monument of valor) is considered completed with 5 maxed titles, taking that into account i highly doubt that having 30 titles will make a huge difference, if any at all.
From what i think the rewards will somehow look like this :

A minipet for the minipet collectors, a weapon for the destroyer weapon monument, a title for the title ones (yeah i seriously think so), maybe a unique pet for the monument of fellowship and no idea about the armor one.

Having said that, these are my predictions and i welcome people to add their thoughts to it, the chances of me being wrong are the same as me being right, no one knows right now but i still believe that many people are having too high hopes regarding the rewards given for the max KoabD track or a full HoM

The above post I can refute: Theres a quote from Anet about there being Multiple Exclusive Minipets, Multiple Exclusive Titles etc and its highly impled that each Statue=Unique Unlock in GW2. What we don't know is if there account wide etc

Another cat it the bag !
I just wish that GW2 will be much better game, reality check minipets are nothing special, weapons also just a simple gimmick and more or less everyone can acquire one.Even those that would be given as a reward !
